Eve Wagner is a founding partner of Sauer & Wagner LLP. Eve now serves as a full-time mediator and arbitrator.
For over 30 years, Eve practiced as a civil litigation trial attorney, focusing on employment, entertainment, intellectual property, business and real estate litigation. On the employment side, Eve represented both employees and employers in a wide variety of industries. Eve handled a broad range of matters, including harassment, discrimination, retaliation, wrongful termination, wage and hour (including class actions) and other related claims On the entertainment / intellectual property side, Eve handled claims for copyright and trademark infringement, right of publicity violations, unfair competition, trade libel, defamation and other related claims. For over ten years, Eve handled a broad range of matters for Michael Jackson. Eve represented several other celebrity clients as well as major motion picture studios, production companies and talent. On the business and real estate side, Eve represented developers, lenders, borrowers, landlords, tenants, partners and individuals in a wide variety of matters. Such matters included complex disputes involving claims for breach of contract, fraud, specific performance, breach of fiduciary duty, intentional interference with contractual relationships and prospective economic advantage, unfair competition, partnership and shareholder disputes and other related claims.
In 2003, Eve expanded her litigation/appellate practice to include mediation and arbitration services, and became a full time mediator / arbitrator in the Fall of 2018.
Eve brings over 30 years of experience as a civil litigation trial attorney to her mediation practice. Over the past fifteen years, Eve has mediated hundreds of cases involving a wide variety of disputes, ranging from simple to multi-party, complex matters. Eve offers private mediation services at Sauer & Wagner LLP and is also on the panel of mediators for the United States District Court, Central District of California.
Eve’s mediation style emphasizes common sense, communication skills and the ability to solve difficult problems with practical solutions. Eve uses both the evaluative and facilitative styles of mediation. Eve received her mediation training through the Straus Institute for Dispute Resolution, offered by the Pepperdine University School of Law. Eve also completed the Advanced Mediation Skills Practicum offered by the Center for Civic Mediation through the Los Angeles County Bar Association.
Eve serves as an arbitrator for the AAA (American Arbitration Association) and IIFTA (Independent Film & Television Alliance) and also offers private arbitration services.
