Sauer & Wagner is a civil litigation boutique law firm that provides its clients with creative solutions to their problems in a prompt and efficient manner at a fair and reasonable cost. S&W represents both plaintiffs and defendants in federal and state courts as well as in administrative proceedings, private mediations and arbitration tribunals.
S&W was founded in 1997 by Gerald L. Sauer. The firm’s success in litigating contentious disputes for its clients is predicated on the experience and perseverance of its attorneys. S&W understands that litigation can be unpredictable and that reevaluating strategies is critical to “winning the case.”
S&W’s approach to litigation is simple. Clients are advised of reasonable courses of action and probable outcomes to empower them to make educated decisions. S&W’s clients are in control of the litigation process from the very beginning, and they decide if and when a case is settled or should proceed through the pleading, fact-finding and motion phases to an eventual trial and possibly an appeal.

Greg has substantial experience in litigating civil disputes in federal and state courts and in private arbitrations. With co-counsel Robert S. Chapman, he obtained a $900,000 jury award in favor of the owner of show-jumping horses against his broker/trainer who was found to have committed fraud and breached fiduciary duties by “flipping” horses, i.e., purchasing a horse and immediately re-selling the horse to a client for multiples of the purchase price.
